Independence Day at Grohe Florists!

4th of July Arrangements ready to send out to our Customers!

We have had a whirlwind the last few months starting with Administrative Professionals Week, Easter, Prom, Mother's Day, Graduations and topping it off with the start of Wedding season!!  Whew...we are ready for the long 4th of July weekend!!  We couldn't have this opportunity without the freedom this great nation offers and for that we want to say Thank You to the brave men and women protecting that Freedom and the United States of America. Because of them we have the liberty to live our lives the way we choose which allows us the luxury to celebrate all these special occasions!
 Happy Independence Day!!

Post Holiday Valentine Wrap up from a florists POV

Phew!  Valentine's Day is over!!  Many people associate Valentine's Day with flowers and chocolates so you can imagine we had a busy few days last week.
All in all we had a good holiday, like usual most people are last minute so we are rushing around trying to help our customers and design all our beautiful flower arrangements and get them delivered to all those Valentines out there.  Thankfully we have seasonal helpers to keep us from going crazy, getting our flowers cleaned and helping our driver get the routes organized.
Over the years we have teamed up with our local Cotati/ Rohnert Park Rotary Club, they come in on the 13th and 14th and deliver for us and in return we donated a portion of the delivery fees to their scholarship foundation.
We are happy for an economy that seems to be recovering a bit and for some of the businesses in Rohnert Park where we had multiple deliveries to Sonoma State University, Graton Casino and to Sonoma Mountain Village off Valley House Drive.
Although it is always a relief when the holiday is over, we are also happy to have Valentine's Day!  So now we get a chance to relax until the next big floral holiday- Mother's Day.

(This blog is written from our Rohnert Park store located at 101 Golf Course Dr.  Rohnert Park, CA-
we also have a second location in Santa Rosa at 1313 McDonald Ave.  Santa Rosa, CA)

Love is in the air....

We have been getting our Grohe Florists Valentine specials photographed and up on our website for the upcoming Valentine's Day. February 14th is only 3 weeks away! I have been thinking how Valentine's Day is on a Friday this year with a 3 day weekend so I have a few reasons why surprising your Valentine early would be a good idea! So here we go.... 1. Women love getting flowers at work! If you send them early she can enjoy them at her desk all week long! 2. If you are going away for the weekend she won't be able to take in the beauty while she's away. 3. Use the flowers as a surprise invitation as your first step to a wonderful weekend. 4. Due to the high volume of deliveries on Valentine's day you are not guaranteed to get a timed delivery where if you have it delivered early in the week you can ensure your love will have their flowers all day. 5. You have already scored brownie points with flowers so now you can really rack up some more by spoiling her with another Valentine's surprise. I have given you some thinking to do. Visit our website at www.groheflorist.com to decide what flowers fit your Valentine's style. We would like to hear  from you...Let us know what you're planning for Valentine's Day by commenting below.
